Attracting Customers is very important for Entrepreneurs as we understand that business is really about customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. Today, I’ll be sharing some practical tips on how to attract customers for your business success.

No matter how great your product or service, your business will not make any money unless customers are willing to buy them. No customers, no business. Period!

However, most small businesses experience hard times or fail, not because customers do not want to buy their products, but because customers don’t even know their products/services exist in the first place.

1. Understand the Law of Attraction

Customers exist because they have needs that they need solutions to. The first step is having a solution to their problems that’s different and unique from what the market is offering. Your business must be able to first deliver on the value it promises otherwise it will only attract what it is…. Customers that don’t buy.

2. Create Attention

A major reason you’re not attracting Customers is because you’re not creating enough attention. You have to focus on creating awareness or attention for your product and service. You have to make it a daily task.

Now that you have a great solution for customer needs, you have to ask yourself how you can get the greatest attention every day.  The more attention you create, the more interest you get.

Remember the AIDA concept we talked about some weeks ago? Attention leads to Interest. Interest leads to Desire. And Desire leads to Action which is sales

3. Go Digital

Traditional media is expensive. TV, Radio, Newspaper ads are the domain of the big brands and businesses with deep pockets. In the digital space, there’s a level playing field. Use social media marketing and other digital marketing tools which are both free and affordable to get the attention you need to sell.

It’s a digital age. Most people turn to the internet to look for information about Products and services they need.  You can easily compete if you show up daily with the right content that attracts the attention of your customers or target market

4. Recruit Brand Ambassadors

A satisfied customer is the best marketing strategy. They’re your natural and organic brand ambassadors. Remember word of mouth is still the most effective advertising tool.

Put in a place a strategy to get testimonials and feedback from your satisfied customers and share them on your media platforms on a consistent. Explore video testimonials too. Video is the most engaging media form.

Ask Ijebu Garri. It’s only satisfied customers that do marketing for them. Even you subconsciously do it 😃

5. Know your industry

Your customers should never know your business and industry more than you.  Again, you need to have experience and expertise to help customers with their needs.  No one will patronize a salon that’s not great at what they do.

Get the best hands and talent to deliver the best results and best practice. If you are conscious of attracting Customers, this is the way to go. The best or nothing else.

6. Know your Ideal client

It’s easier to look for customers if you know the type of consumers you seek.  This is a huge topic on its own. 7. Follow up

Customers enjoy attention. Like a hot girl, customers won’t say yes on the first day. You have to try again and again to stand a chance.

Attracting customers is just like starting a relationship.  Marketing is about building relationships with customers. Like all relationships, follow up is essential.

By following up, you learn more about the customer needs. More importantly, you learn more about overcoming objections and rejection. For customers to buy your products, they need to trust and believe that their needs will be met before they exchange their hard-earned money.

Follow up is all about persistence. Persistence shows faith. Faith triggers trust and believe that wins customers.

Go all in. You have to convince your customer that your product and service is actually the solution they need. Go all in so you can win their trust.

The 5th point says that 60% of customers normally buy after the 5th follow up.

So if you face rejection or objection at first, just relax because it’s normal. The customer is just being exposed to your brand and he/she is still judging.
